| “Legislators, applicators and the public at large are
becoming ever more concerned about industrial solvent emissions or Volatile Organic
Compounds (VOCs) to give them their technical name. In 1988, International Protective
Coatings recognised the changing legislative landscape and took the lead in formulating
more environmentally responsible coating systems, coatings that had greatly reduced VOC
contents. These coatings formed a new range of products called Ecotech. As part of our Ecotech initiative, International Protective Coatings has spent most of the last decade carrying out extensive research and development into high performance, water based epoxy coating technology. | Intergard 270 - A two component, fast drying, water borne, anti-corrosive epoxy primer which is pigmented with zinc phosphate. Extremely low solvent content meets all current and proposed VOC legislation. |
| Intergard 401 - A two component, high performance fast drying water borne epoxy intermediate coating. Available as a self coloured intermediate, or alternatively can be pigmented with micaceous iron oxide to give improved barrier properties. Extremely low solvent content meets all current and proposed VOC legislation. |
| Interzinc 280 - A three component fast drying water borne zinc rich epoxy primer. Extremely low solvent content meets all current and proposed VOC legislation. |
